Billionaires. Blue Origin. The B Word. It’s been a big month for outer space and the crypto space. Here’s the latest:
The Blockchain.com Exchange listed new assets this month, including Chainlink (LINK), Stacks (STX), USD Coin (USDC), Uniswap (UNI), DAI (DAI) and Compound (COMP). These assets are available for deposit, trading, and withdrawal.
These are only the beginning of a series of token integrations on the Exchange. We’re committed to giving you access to top cryptos and will continue a stream of listings over the coming weeks. Keep an eye out for what’s coming next. 👀
The crypto markets were…
Over the past few months, we’ve worked to create new products and features that make the Blockchain.com Wallet experience better and easier to use. Here’s what you’ll see in the new and improved Wallet:
As enthusiasm for DeFi grows, we’ve continued to add support for ERC20 tokens like AAVE and YFI. If you’re not familiar with the acronym, an ERC20 is a token created and hosted on the Ethereum blockchain. It can hold value and be sent and received — similar to bitcoin or ether.
We now have full support for Wrapped-DGLD (wDGLD), Paxos Standard (PAX), Tether (USDT), Aave (AAVE)…
This week, athletes from across the globe will descend on Tokyo, Japan for the 2020 Tokyo Games. With jaw-dropping talents on display and thrilling moments galore, these games are sure to deliver.
Yet, no event will have fiercer competition than Blockchain.com’s 1st Crypto Games. 🥇
We think bitcoin is the perfect way to celebrate an event like the Tokyo Games: both bitcoin and the Games unite people across borders, they both create new bonds, and bull markets — like the games — come in four-year cycles. (Sorry, we had to.)
So, in honor of that, from July 23 to August…
Strong houses require solid foundations.
Investors who may have missed or under-allocated to crypto prior to the spring 2021 all-time highs may understandably be holding off on any further allocations until a new price floor is established.
After a record-setting first five months of 2021 we’ve seen crypto prices stabilize over the past eight weeks. Bitcoin has mostly held its head above the $30k level during this time.
As we discuss on this month’s market webinar, we also see on-chain evidence of a more reasonable price base. …
This summer it’s not just Blockchain.com customer numbers that continue to grow. Our team continues to expand to meet the challenge of relentlessly building the future of finance. In recent weeks we’ve hired a number of key leaders to the company, bolstering our team’s experience and capabilities.

Summer 2021 started off with a bang.
Between the excitement of Bitcoin 2021: Miami, a stream of launches, partnerships, announcements and industry news, it’s hard to believe that there were only 30 days in June.
In June, we announced that $CLOUT, the native token of the BitClout network, was listed exclusively on the Blockchain.com Exchange. Customers can deposit and trade $CLOUT, or send to the BitClout network. BitClout is the first social network built from the ground up as it’s own custom blockchain. …
Blockchain.com now supports AAVE and YFI (yearn.finance) Interest Accounts at a current annual interest rate of 8%.
In September of 2020, we announced support for AAVE and YFI on the Blockchain.com Exchange. Since then, we’ve also added these tokens to the Blockchain.com Wallet.
With these additions, you can now earn interest on eight of the top cryptocurrencies, including BTC, ETH, USDT, PAX USD, BCH and XLM. Simply transfer any amount over the minimum transfer, and you will begin accruing daily interest.
With rates up to 13.5%, no tiers, and no cap on the amount of money you can transfer, it’s…
Earlier this year, Blockchain.com announced support for Segregated Witness (SegWit).
Now, we are pleased to announce that we have officially activated the upgrade: SegWit is live across our web wallet and mobile applications.
This means lower fees on your Bitcoin transactions now and in the future.
This activation does not affect how you actually send or receive Bitcoin; it’s an update to how the transactions process in the background on the blockchain.
When lots of people try to send Bitcoin simultaneously, the queue of transactions gets congested, causing high transaction fees.
SegWit solves this issue by creating more space in…
Another month has come and gone. What has Blockchain.com been up to this month? Let’s jump right in.
In May, we announced the acquisition of AiX, a company that has built an impressive, AI-powered negotiation and matching engine for institutional OTC traders. The AiX team brings deep engineering, trading, and operational expertise as we continue to expand our institutional offering.
We also added Dogecoin (DOGE) to the Blockchain.com Exchange. After DOGE’s explosive growth, we received quite a few excited requests for us to add it to our platform. All we can say is: Wow. Much amaze. Such enjoyment.
